PLCS
Mainspray is a unique internal repair system that seals pipe joints
remotely. The system offers an extremely cost-effective approach
to hard to reach multiple leaks on a single section of main.
Electronic
monitoring equipment built into the spray head precisely locates
the joints and accurately directs the sprayed sealant.
The anaerobic
sealant works through the jute yarn into the joint cavity, sealing
the leak.
The sealant
is delivered in controlled quantities and any excess fully cures
in the main.
The sealant
is a specially formulated derivative of PLCS Anacure.
The system
can be used on 4" to 48" gas mains.
Approximately
30 joints can be sealed through one tapped 2" hole
Approximately
60 joints can be sealed in a regular working day.
The system
works equally well on LP or MP mains.
All PLCS
Mainspray sealing is completed using ALH System-One Control Gas
mains entry equipment for total onsite safety.
