Transform any non-leaking coupling into a Restraint Coupling without removing it from the pipe and without welding
or shutting down a live pipeline.
- Prevents coupling pull-out.
- Fast and simple installation by your own crews.
- Superior, economical alternative to welding or pipeline cut-outs.
|
The coupling and pipe ends are now permanently bonded together to make a fully restrained joint that will never let go of
the pipe.
All sizes meet all CFR 192 requirements for pullout and are designed at a minimum of 3 times the pullout rating of a standard restraint coupling. The finished encapsulation is rated for natural gas at 400 psig. (Scroll down to view test results. Full report available on request.)
Tensile-Max is one of the strongest polyurethane resins in the world. It is a derivative of PLCS Series 6,
a polyurethane used on millions of successful gas main encapsulations for over 25 years. Series 6 has passed
National Grid/British Gas LC8 and US specifications and is the gold standard encapsulation method for leak
sealing, used by gas companies around the world.
